Our Manufacturing Process

ETSG was one of the first die makers to fully appreciate the impact that Computer Assisted Design, and CNC machining would have on extrusion dies. A skilled craftsman seldom makes an error. A CNC machine, with an experienced operator, never does. And equally important, its results are quantifiable. That is why ETSG dies are designed whenever possible to be easily corrected by machine rather than by hand.

In its ongoing endeavor to achieve the ultimate goal of providing the extruder with a perfect die, ETSG recognizes the equal importance of manufacturing and design. Its policy, therefore, has always been to continually improve both its manufacturing and design capability by investing in state-of-the-art equipment.

ETSG’s manufacturing facilities are unmatched. Manual operations have been almost completely eliminated. Because of this, it is able to provide dies that are designed to produce high quality extrusions at maximum speed, and with minimum scrap. Increased press speed, however, has not been at the expense of strength, ETSG dies now last longer than ever before.
